True Relief for Pain
Byron Health and Healing uses the True Relief device, a highly effective treatment to address pain. Treating pain can be very frustrating for physicians, especially those in primary care whose main tool for the treatment of pain is the prescription pad.
Most patients have already tried over-the-counter medications such as Tylenol and ibuprofen. The next step commonly incorporated to treat pain is prescription strength medications like tramadol (Ultram), which has morphine-like qualities. Other medications essentially numb the nerves such as many anti-seizure and anti-depressant medications.
Next in line are the infamous narcotic analgesics like Vicodin, Percocet, oxycodone, and OxyContin. Likely, you are well aware of the major abuse, misuse, and dependent nature of this potentially dangerous class of drugs.
True Relief offers an alternative to pills that do not treat the underlying cause of pain.
What is the True Relief device?
Being treated with the True Relief device is painless. Yes, that’s right. It does not hurt at all. It uses an electrical current at a very high proprietary frequency, which cannot be felt by our bodies to reset the tissue at the cellular level. The resetting of the cells subsequently resonates with the proprietary electrical signal of the True Relief, thereby allowing the cells to function normally at the normal electrical setting.
It is like a dance teacher pairing with the student who follows the lead of the teacher until the student can function independently. Electroceutically speaking, this is how the True Relief works. It is all completed in a matter of minutes using the True Relief.
Why use the True Relief device?
The Scientific Imaginetics True Relief is intended for temporary symptomatic relief of chronic intractable pain, and as an adjunctive treatment in the management of post-surgical and post-traumatic acute pain. Although the FDA approved the True Relief device for “temporary relief of pain”, clinically it is expected to be long-lasting. I have experienced this with personal use and with patients.

Consider True Relief to get back in the game much sooner. Professional athletes (NBA, etc) have been treated with True Relief for a quick return to their respective sports. If it is good enough for professional athletes, it is good enough for you.
Have you had cortisone injections that did not work?
Too many cortisone shots ultimately can deteriorate soft tissue and bone leading to accelerated degenerative changes such as arthritis and osteoporosis in addition to a weakened immune system.
Do you need True Relief after surgery or a painful procedure?
True Relief is well-suited to treat postsurgical and post-procedural pain.
Will you need or should you continue physical therapy, chiropractic, acupuncture or massage therapy?
These modes of therapy are often very beneficial for patients who have painful conditions. Each situation should be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. However, I have found True Relief to be an excellent adjunctive therapy when combined with the above modalities. Generally, the muscles and soft tissue surrounding an injured or painful area often become weak due to underuse. Adding physical therapy or chiropractic treatment will address any underlying weakness and/or structural malalignments which will further improve the condition of the patient once the pain is removed.
Does behavioral therapy play a role with True Relief?
Yes, behavioral therapy is especially important for those who experience chronic pain. The issue that must be addressed is how to live without pain. Those who have lived with moderate-to-severe chronic pain must address the behavioral aspects of how to live free of the habits and activities that contribute or support living in chronic pain.
How many treatments will you need?
For most conditions one-to-three treatmentswill substantially reduce or eliminate pain. Some conditions may require more treatments for full elimination of pain. Each treatment lasts approximately 10 minutes. If more treatments are needed it is best to schedule those on consecutive days such as Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, for example.
